3rd T20 West Indies vs Bangladesh 2018: Bangladesh win by 19 runs on the DLS method
Bangladesh defeats West Indies 2-1 in the 3-match T20 series. Bangladesh won the three-match series by defeating West Indies by 19 runs on the Duckworth-Lewis system in the rain-affected third and final T20 match. In the last T20 match, Bangladesh scored 185 for five wickets in 20 over’s. In reply, the West Indies made 135 runs in seven wickets in 17.1 over’s.
Captain Shakib Al Hasan Chosen to bat first after winning the toss. Liton Das played 61 off 32 balls, which included 3- sixes and 6-fours, which gave him the man of the match. Mahmudullah returned to the knockout with 32 off 20 balls while Tamim Iqbal contributed 21 runs for 13balls.
West Indies’ batsmen Andre Russell played a match-winning knock of 47 in 21 balls with 6-sixes and 1-four. Russell was dismissed by Mustafizur Rehman in the 18th over, after which the West Indies team got damaged
Apart from Russell, none of the batsmen could stay for long and when the match was stopped due to rain, the West Indies made 135 runs in 17.1 over’s. After this Bangladesh were declared winners by 19 runs.
After the loss in the ODI series, West Indies won the first match of the first T20 series, after which Bangladesh won two consecutive matches to take the series 2-1.
